Kith is operated by Antipode Technologies Inc., a corporation incorporated in Canada (“we”, “us”). By using Kith you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short. If you do not agree, delete the app.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to a contract where you live. You need an email address you control. One account per person.
Crews are invite-only and capped. Sharing an invite code is how people get in, so treat it the way you would treat the door code to your flat. Whoever created a crew can rotate its code and remove members.
You own what you write. You give us permission to store it and show it to the other members of your crew, including quoting it back to that same crew as a Who Said It puzzle. We never show it to anyone outside your crew, and we do not use it for advertising.
You agree not to post anything that:
Every message can be reported by holding it down, and any member can be blocked. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, suspend an account, or both. Reported messages stop being eligible as puzzle content immediately, before anyone has looked at them.
One answer per person per round, and the round is graded on our servers. Trying to submit more than once, to read other people’s answers before submitting your own, or to automate play, is grounds for removing your account.
Kith is provided as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, that a round will always drop on time, or that your data will never be lost, though we try hard on all three. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
You can delete your account at any time from Crew → Delete my account. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms. If we do, we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Kith after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Ontario, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
Nothing here takes away consumer protection rights you have under the law where you live. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
